Manhattan based security company is currently seeking qualified candidates for the following position:
IT Support Specialist
Position Requirements
3-5 years experience in an IT support role
Technical background to manage and diagnose customers` networks and problems
An A+ or better.
Knowledge of Windows operating systems
The ability to troubleshoot problems.
Strong communication skills and professional manner
Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
Great follow-up skills
Self starter mentality and ability to handle multiple tasks critical
Position Responsibilties
Provide first tier technical support on client software to the staff
Report troubles within the computer network
Assist with upgrades for all software and hardware installations and inventories
Travel to client sites to diagnose and fix software and hardware issues.
Employment requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be US citizen or have green card
No criminal convictions
Valid state identification
Successful completion of background check
Written and verbal proficiency
Must be able to pass drug test
Location: New York
Compensation: Commensurate with experience
